Breadcrumbs can be customized in several ways. See the examples below:

This example shows how you might use different separator examples:

Using "/": Home Page / Countries of the World / United States / California
Using ">": Home Page > Countries of the World > United States > California
Using "•"
 Home Page • Countries of the World • United States • California

 
Based on the example above, there is the "Home Page" included in the breadcrumb. The example below shows you what it could look like with that feature disabled:

Countries of the World • United States • California


Now, based on the prior example, the California page is the current page. The following example shows the how it would look with the current page set as being linked:

Countries of the World • United States • California

The last change option is to define a different page as your "Home Page". The plugin will use what you define as the home page. See below:
Travel > Countries of the World > United States > California
