Breadcrumbs

The Multi-Level Navigation plugin utilizes the main Soholaunch functionality of page coding and would not allow for any traditional means of adding breadcrumbs, except to manually enter them into your content area. This could become difficult and time consuming. Since this plugin creates your menus for you, it seemed only logical to provide a mechanism of adding breadcrumbs to your pages that would automatically be generated based on the navigation structure of the menus.

As you can see just above the page title here, there is a breadcrumb trail that will lead you all the way back to the Home Page through the several layers of navigation.

The design of the breadcrumb trail is also configurable in the admin of the site. You can change:

• the separator character
• which page the "Home" link goes to
• whether to include the "Home" link
• whether to make the current page a link in the breadcrumb

You have two options for using the breadcrumbs. You can add them to the content area of your page, or you can add them to your template (or both if you want to get really wacky).
